The Brief

Deliver a Red Bull X-Fighters event within Battersea Power Station, transforming the landmark into a fully integrated freestyle motocross arena capable of hosting a world-class live action sports production.

The Challenge

Create a cohesive live environment across multiple indoor and outdoor architectural zones while operating within the constraints of a high-profile London location. The production needed to balance rider safety, audience flow, technical consistency and live show impact, all within a complex industrial site not originally designed for large-scale action sports events

Our Role

ASL led production delivery across staging, lighting, arena integration, show choreography and live event operations. Working closely with Red Bull and technical partners, we coordinated the infrastructure required to transform the venue into a functioning freestyle motocross environment, integrating ramps, hospitality, audience viewing areas and technical systems into one unified experience.

Delivery

Battersea Power Station was transformed into a large-scale live action sports arena, with the venue itself becoming part of the show environment. Staging and lighting were designed around the scale and structure of the building, connecting internal and external performance spaces into one continuous audience experience. The event attracted more than 35,000 spectators and formed part of Red Bull’s wider city-centre activation strategy, helping build momentum around the X-Fighters tour through iconic urban locations.
